Individual Education Plans and family involvement is always key to a student's success at Ma'avar. Their communication with us, in-school and out, is very important to the continuity of your student's care and to their success in the program.

Interactive, engaging classes in real-life Math, Literacy, local Geography (TTC/transit), Life Skills, Social Skills and Employment Skills will give the students the skills they need to be successful.

Use of current technology, keyboarding and social applications give them the experience they need to stand out in the job market.

The opportunity to take an online CEU (continuing education credits) class of your choice, with the help of one of our knowledgeable teachers. There are over 600 online continuing ed classes to choose from, choices range from nutrition, cooking and pet grooming, to medical, business legal and other professional classes. These classes offer the students an opportunity to learn about their interests and can be a stepping stone to their dream job.

Another important part of becoming independent is learning the prepare food for yourself, maintain a healthy diet and exercise. Exercise classes such as yoga, karate, etc, will be introduced throughout the year for those who are interested.
